Elivi sits at the point where the pine forest stops and the Aegean begins. It is one of those places that requires no explanation once you are standing in it.
Gemma and Ben came from Canada with sixty of the people closest to them, and a shared instinct for restraint. The celebration was considered in every detail: clean lines, muted tones, flowers that felt gathered rather than arranged. Nothing competed with the view. Everything was in service of the day itself.
As the afternoon moved toward evening, the Aegean shifted color slowly, the way it does in late summer, from deep blue to something closer to silver. The dinner table faced the sea, the conversation was warm, and the light did the rest.
Elivi gave the day its frame: a place designed with the kind of quiet confidence that never needs to announce itself.
