The Veneto has a particular way with late afternoon light. It settles over the vineyards slowly, as if it knows it has nowhere better to be. That was the light Erika and Jon were married in, at the Belvedere of Villa Rizzardi, one of Verona's oldest and most quietly beautiful estates.
They came from New York with a deliberate plan: a symbolic ceremony, a handful of people they love, and a setting worthy of the occasion. No excess, no performance. Just the right place and the right people.
Every detail reflected the couple's instinct for elegance. Understated florals, refined styling, a table set as though the evening itself had been considered long in advance. Erika moved through the day with the ease of someone who knows exactly who she is. Jon never took his eyes off her.
As the light faded over the vineyards, the dinner unfolded in the gardens of the villa with the same unhurried elegance that had defined the entire day. The table stretched beneath century-old trees, surrounded by the kind of stillness that Italian countryside evenings seem to hold naturally. Villa Rizzardi is not a venue that tries to impress. It simply exists, with its stone terraces, its manicured grounds, its long history, and lets the occasion find its own weight within it.
Villa Rizzardi held it all with the kind of effortless grace that only a place with real history can offer.
